A potted history
St Andrew's Methodist Church is situated on the large Hardwick Council estate. Opened in 1960 it serves a large surrounding area. We have 46 members and a small community roll.
St Andrews has good ecumenical relations, working with Church Together. This group consists of Anglican, Roman Catholic and Methodist members and clergy. This group encourages joint prayer and worship, learning about each others traditions and reflecting about the Christian faith.
It is good to think that there is strong Christian presence on the estate and that we are playing a part in it.
